one can use the innate patterning in a Shader to give definition to form almost forgoing painted texture mapping altogether.
But I am beginning to question the notion that it should only happen digitally. I believe that physical objects are necessary. My problem is twofold.
- Mass produced objects of low quality. The world is awash in trash.
- Scarcity resulting in fine objects only enjoyed by a privledged few.
If I am to make things, I know that I only wish to make things that a meaningful, beautiful, and that last. Fetishes. I want to work in bronze, not plastic. Electricity and bits, paper, silver, gold. But how?
