[[thumb:2006-06-05_The_Big_German_20h25|left|frame|150px|photos taken by Mike S. at MOMA and then emailed to me as a remembrance of things past..]] okay, i used to love his work... i found it beautiful. i think i was hypnotized into it at art school. along with abstract art, it took some effort but i learned to appreciate it while not falling for the whole modernist routine. i don't know how i feel about it now... i still feel something for it. like i feel i understand what it could mean. the work itself, even if the man was a charlatan.
guess i believed that a certain combination of materials, contained miracles. alchemy and chemistry and formality.
