BlueberryMuffins

Food

1 1/2 teacups (which are probably about the right size) of this flour that says its for fijngebak... hope that is what i’m making anyway.
3/4 teacup candico blonde sugar (Z! says: “hey that type of sugar has a really special taste, maybe if the recipe says white sugar you should get some white sugar... A!: but we never eat white sugar i will get this, at least its something we actually are gonna use for something else . it says on the box - lekker op de botterham of pannekoeken.... i’ll risk it.)
1/2 little spoon(?) salt (get confused trying to remember what a teaspoon looks like, take an actual teaspoon which i’m sure is smaller and use that.)
2 little spoons baking powder (at the store it was actually called “Baking Powder” too, at last, something easy.)
1/3 teacup vegetable oil (is the Sunflower a vegetable, i could think about this for hours, but anyway, it’s what i’ve got)
1 brown, happy chicken egg, from a bio-organic farm
1/3 teacup bio halfvolle milk (no worries)
1 package of fresh blueberries (yum) (4 oz. ... that’s enough)

DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to that little mark after 175 C which might be 200 C. Grease muffin pan a bit but mostly hope that the non-stick is really non-stick.

Combine flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. Place vegetable oil into that teacup. have second thoughts about if the 1/3 cup oil isn’t a bit much (or if your estimation is off) and put a bit less in; add the egg and enough milk to fill the cup. Mix this with flour mixture. Fold in blueberries. Fill muffin cups more than halfway, shit, it only makes 7 and not 8 of the darn things and there’s four of us. And sprinkle with crumb topping mixture.

To Make Crumb Topping: Mix together 1/2 teacup sugar, 1/3 teacup flour, 1/4 teacup butter, and 1 1/2 little spoons cinnamon. Mix with fork, and sprinkle over muffins before baking. While making crumb topping question if the kids will be weirded out by it and if I should leave this part out. Decide its delicious stuff and go for it! If they don’t like it, more for me! ;)

Bake for 9 minutes and notice that the oven was set too high so turn it down because they are getting brwon on the outside but the inside is still raw! cook for another 9 minutes or so, or until done.
