A recap of the “good” rules
- Mostly quads, with some triangles where the object changes shape
- No long, skinny faces in areas that need to bend.
- Minimum number of polys needed to get the job done
- Good edge flow. Look for this quality only if the model meets all the criteria above, but still looks “wrong” somehow.
